The Galley leather wallet pattern is a pdf downloadable leather crafting pattern to create a long wallet with five or seven card slots, one zipper coin compartment and two banknotes/receipts compartments. It is an Intermediate skill level wallet template that is easier to build than the usual long wallet designs since it does not include T-shaped card pockets that require skiving or sewing at their bottom edges. The leather pattern includes step-by-step assembly instructions with pictures to guide you through the build. Using the same pattern you can also make few variations of the Galley wallet - you can skip the cards pocket that is on top of the coin pocket or the closure strap for couple of simpler versions. Or you can make a slick, lean zipper wallet by making the Coin Pocket with the two card pockets on it as a stand-alone piece to be carried in a purse or by itself while running a quick errand.

Dimensions: 9.9/9cm (~3.9/3.5 inches)
Capacity: up to 6 cards and unfolded cash
Skill level: Beginner
Leather:
> 1.0-1.2mm thickness (2.5-3oz), medium to stiff temper for the interior and card pockets
> 1.4-1.6mm thickness (3.5-4oz), medium to stiff temper for the exterior
Print the pattern at 100% scale and verify size using the Print Accuracy Test.
Measure and cut on the outside edge of the lines.
The stitching holes are spaced at 3.85mm and the stitch line distance from the edge is 4mm (unless mentioned otherwise in the assembly instructions).
